What you will do

• Reverse engineer and automate control of network-connected devices, targeting complex protocols and endpoints.
• Drive the identification and fingerprinting of embedded, IoT, and OT/ICS devices.
• Architect and evolve the device interaction application, owning challenging components end-to-end.
• Set technical direction for resolving protocol-level problems and hard-to-reproduce bugs.
• Design and maintain automated test cases and frameworks to ensure device coverage integrity.
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and grow the technical depth of the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Deep expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong reverse engineering skills, including network protocol analysis and traffic capture interpretation.
• Proficiency with relational databases, schema design, and query optimization for large datasets.
• Strong command of Unix/Linux environments and working proficiency with Docker.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, and common embedded/industrial protocols.

Nice to have

• Experience with ICS/OT environments or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of xIoT device security.
