Field Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead the integration, fielding, and deployment of cyber products within customer environments.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Develop comprehensive user manuals and integration guides.
• Coordinate and synthesize customer feedback to inform product development teams.
• Conduct customer training on product usage and functionality.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret government security clearance are required.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience with software deployment/system integration.
• Proficiency in system administration for Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer-facing interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) customers and knowledge of RMF or Cyber Resiliency standards.
• Ability to read C/C++ code and use Bash/Batch scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of OS internals, TPM, and Secure Boot technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like QEMU, KVM, or VMWare.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
