What you will do
- Own the ad monetization strategy and execution for both web and mobile application platforms.
- Configure, manage, and optimize AdMob, Google Ad Manager, and app mediation waterfalls.
- Audit existing ad setups to identify and implement opportunities to improve fill rate, eCPM, and ARPU.
- Design and manage ad unit structures and optimize formats such as banners, interstitials, and native ads.
- Collaborate with Engineering to implement SDKs and with Product to ensure monetization does not damage user experience.
- Build reporting dashboards and run A/B tests to optimize placements and frequency caps.
Requirements
- Advanced hands-on experience with Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager.
- Expertise in app ad mediation, including bidding, waterfalls, and country-level optimization.
- Strong understanding of ad metrics (eCPM, ARPDAU, fill rate) and ability to diagnose technical revenue drops.
- Experience with consent management and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, or BigQuery.
- Ability to balance ad revenue growth against subscription conversion and user retention.
