What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery of complex, ambiguous projects.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster a culture of engineering excellence.
• Advocate for software design best practices, including scalability, resiliency, and observability.
• Research and recommend architectural patterns and technology choices.
• Establish operational excellence metrics, including testing strategies, monitoring, and SLAs.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align technology decisions with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading the technical design of 3+ projects end-to-end.
• Experience contributing to 2+ multi-quarter projects within decentralized, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages with the ability to justify technical choices.
• Experience formally mentoring at least 3 individuals.
• Solid understanding of testing, monitoring, and observability tools.
