TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (.NET): Building and maintaining a platform connecting customers to flight providers with an accent on distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and high-throughput environments. Focus on abstracting supplier-specific logic, optimizing flight routing, and ensuring zero failed bookings through operational excellence.
Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK) — requires presence in the office 2 days per week (usually Tuesday & Wednesday).

What you will do
- Build scalable backend systems and platforms that abstract supplier-specific logic for customers.
- Develop and optimize systems supporting supplier connectivity and the requote/reserve/book process.
- Implement post-booking actions for both customers and suppliers.
- Design and operate cloud-native platforms using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and commercial teams to deliver dependable, commercially impactful solutions.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable backend systems and distributed services.
- Proficiency in designing and operating cloud-native platforms.
- Knowledge of messaging infrastructure, streaming technologies, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to solve scalability, latency, and operational resilience challenges.
- Experience working with various API technologies and external suppliers.
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Manchester office (2 days/week).

- Experience with AI-assisted engineering, including agentic coding workflows.
