TL;DR

Product Data Scientist (AI/Consumer SaaS): Building the analytical framework for a voice dictation platform with an accent on growth modeling, user behavior analysis, and instrumentation. Focus on designing end-to-end A/B experiments and developing core metrics for activation and retention in a PLG environment.

What you will do

• Build and own core growth metrics including activation, retention, engagement, and conversion for a cross-platform consumer product.
• Analyze usage cohorts and feature adoption signals to surface actionable product insights.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to define and answer questions that drive product strategy.
• Execute end-to-end A/B experiments from hypothesis formation to causal interpretation and recommendations.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers using dbt and ClickHouse to ensure clean and consistent data models.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics, specifically within consumer SaaS or consumer tech.
• Proven expertise in experimentation, including the ability to build frameworks for scalable product testing.
• Strong SQL skills and fluency with modern data stacks such as dbt, ClickHouse, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience being embedded within product teams and delivering actionable analysis in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
