General Ledger Accountant (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Perform month-end and year-end closing for management reporting and statutory compliance under SFRS.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheets, and detailed transaction-level movement analysis.
• Manage journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, FX revaluation, and provisions.
• Handle multi-currency bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction matching with regional counterparts.
• Coordinate quarterly GST returns, annual corporate income tax filing, and liaise with external auditors.
• Support finance automation initiatives by reviewing reconciliation logic and validating system-generated journals.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• More than 2 years of experience handling a full set of accounts, preferably in gaming or high-tech.
• Solid working knowledge of Singapore GST, corporate tax, and SFRS.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with HQ and regional teams.
• Ability to work onsite fully in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL for querying transaction-level data.
• Experience with AI tools, Python, Power Query, Airflow, or RPA tools for finance automation.
• Conceptual understanding of applying LLMs to finance workflows for anomaly detection or automated commentary.
