Architectural Trainee (Architecture)

TL;DR

Architectural Trainee (Architecture): Participating in the development of diverse architectural projects ranging from small to large-scale urban structures with an accent on 2D/3D design, physical modeling, and creative production. Focus on integrating emerging design technologies and artificial intelligence techniques into integrated architectural practice.

Location: Must be based in Shanghai. Only applicants with Chinese, Taiwan, or Hong Kong passports, or those currently studying in China (student visa), will be considered.

What you will do

• Participate as a full team member in architectural projects.
• Provide creative input and execute solid work production.
• Assist in designing and drawing using 2D and 3D tools.
• Create physical models to represent design concepts.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Architecture.
• Previous internship experience at international design offices.
• Proficiency in Rhino (mandatory), AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Vray.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to organize work independently and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to a minimum internship duration of 6 months (1 year preferred).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Grasshopper and scripting.
• Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin.
• Interest in artificial intelligence applicable techniques for design.
