What you will do

• Serve as the primary operational owner for payment-related incidents and escalations.
• Investigate failed, delayed, or unreconciled transactions and drive root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate resolution efforts across Engineering, Product, Finance, and external payment partners.
• Monitor payment system health, transaction success rates, and operational KPIs.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend system enhancements or automation.
• Maintain dashboards and reports to track operational performance and incident trends.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in payment operations, fintech, banking, or technical operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate transaction-level data.
• Proven experience in handling operational incidents and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams regarding APIs and payment flows.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to drive issues to resolution independently.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with banks, payment gateways, or processors.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
