What you will do

• Own end-to-end APM reconciliation by matching provider reports and bank movements to internal ledgers.
• Monitor APM balances and settlement cycles, investigating breaks and driving root-cause remediation.
• Strengthen financial controls and reporting by defining KPIs and maintaining audit-ready evidence.
• Conduct high-volume daily and weekly reconciliations across payment providers and bank accounts.
• Analyze settlement patterns to identify trends and prevent revenue leakage.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Treasury teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payment operations, reconciliation, or settlement within a fintech or banking environment.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency including pivots and lookups.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and validation.
• Solid understanding of payment flows, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Estepona/Malaga, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience reconciling Alternative Payment Methods like iDEAL, PayPal, or BNPL.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
• Experience with Python or SOX-style financial controls.
• Dutch language skills.
