What you will do

• Develop electronic control systems for machine safety, productivity, and autonomy.
• Design algorithms for sensing, planning, and control to support automation.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to verify and release software.
• Debug systems involving both hardware and software through on-machine tuning.
• Manage the full R&D lifecycle from launch to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications.
• Proficiency in requirements analysis to ensure the success of system development.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills for hardware/software applications.
• Ability to design and execute product testing strategies.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Peoria, IL. No visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine dynamics, kinematics, and EH system control.
• Knowledge of AI, deep learning integration, and perception solutions.
• Experience with Python, Matlab/Simulink, C++, or ROS.
• Background in earthmoving equipment development.
