What you will do

• Develop and implement embedded control code for PFC, chargers, DC/DC converters, and inverters.
• Perform board bring-up and develop device drivers for communication protocols like CAN, I2C, and SPI.
• Validate design concepts through computer simulation and physical laboratory testing.
• Write lean, efficient code for real-time interrupt-driven applications.
• Debug complex hardware and firmware issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Develop automated test cases for Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) modeling and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in power electronics product development.
• 5+ years of programming experience in C/C++ and Assembly for 32-bit controllers and DSPs.
• Strong understanding of power electronics principles (inverters, rectifiers, LLC, CLLC, DAB).
• Proficiency in RTOS and real-time system development.
• Experience with grid-tie inverter systems and safety regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to work onsite in Campbell, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA programming and simulation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or Plecs for control system modeling.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
