Compensation: $123,714 – $188,945 per year.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and test embedded flight software, including hardware interface layers.
- Implement software requirements derived from system-level specifications with full traceability.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test procedures.
- Collaborate with avionics, systems, and propulsion teams to define interfaces and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Debug complex software and hardware/software integration issues in lab environments.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee/asylum status required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C++ programming for resource-constrained environments.
- Experience with Python for tooling, automation, or scripting.
Nice to have
- Experience with flight software for spacecraft or safety-critical aerospace systems.
- Familiarity with safety-critical standards such as DO178 or NPR 7150.2.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools.
