What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers and technical leaders to ship products on strong architectural foundations.
• Develop high-quality end-to-end product experiences for backend platforms.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and internal development processes.
• Lead the execution of both short-term and long-term technical roadmaps.
• Manage technical tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and sustainable foundations.
• Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects to reduce complexity and increase system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience, specifically in platform and infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise in Go, Node, or Python.
• Proven experience managing state in distributed systems and working with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in backend testing frameworks and system testing best practices.
• Experience mentoring peers and driving cross-functional decision-making.

Nice to have

• Track record of leading backend platform development in a high-growth tech environment.
• Portfolio or GitHub repository demonstrating expertise in middleware, APIs, or server-side architecture.
• Fluent English proficiency.
