What you will do
- Perform routine engineering tests, measurements, and evaluations for aerospace products.
- Build test setups, wiring harnesses, mechanical fixtures, and prototype assemblies.
- Support environmental and functional testing (temperature, vibration, EMI) aligned with DO-160 standards.
- Assist with aircraft installation of equipment, sensors, and wiring, following established safety procedures.
- Record test results with high accuracy and maintain technical logs and configuration records.
- Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data loggers.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or avionics principles.
- Ability to use hand tools, measurement devices, and basic test equipment.
- Physical ability to lift 40-50 lbs and perform hands-on mechanical tasks.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Nice to have
- Experience in an engineering or product testing environment.
- Exposure to aerospace testing standards such as DO-160, DO-178, or MIL-STD.
- Familiarity with aircraft systems or previous work on aircraft installations.
- Experience with data acquisition equipment and basic electronics assembly.
