What you will do

• Troubleshoot and maintain PCTE systems across various secure environments.
• Apply system hardening techniques, validate patches, and enforce security baselines for virtual machines.
• Configure and deploy secure virtual training environments, including RCS nodes and external connections.
• Plan, execute, and report on cybersecurity test and evaluation activities in collaboration with the Senior Test Officer.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, Army regulations, and RMF/NIST controls.
• Collaborate with development teams to create engineering specifications for cybersecurity and training solutions.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or KVM.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows system hardening and baselining.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and tools like Nessus, ACAS, Wireshark, and Splunk.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile workflows.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP).
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
