What you will do

• Design and implement a maturity-based release model (CAB 2.0) to enable self-service releases for qualified teams.
• Replace manual CAB evidence gathering with automated policy-as-code controls embedded in delivery pipelines.
• Scale standardized CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated security, compliance, and progressive rollout mechanisms.
• Deliver a two-year roadmap to transition legacy governance mechanisms into automated equivalents.
• Analyze release incidents and utilize DORA metrics to guide prioritization and validate automation impact.
• Influence stakeholders across Engineering, AppSec, and Cloud Operations to drive adoption of standardized pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing or operating enterprise-scale CI/CD and release systems.
• Proven track record of transforming approval-driven governance processes into automated mechanisms.
• Deep expertise in policy-as-code, secure-by-default delivery systems, and automated compliance controls.
• Ability to define and drive technical standards adopted across multiple engineering teams.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm, and containerization.
• Experience building AI-assisted release readiness or incident automation workflows.
• Background in federated DevOps or platform organizations.
• Experience specifically modernizing or replacing CAB models.
