What you will do

• Set up, operate, and program multi-axis CNC mills and lathes (up to 5-axis) for aerospace components.
• Perform precision inspections using metrology equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T to execute machining operations.
• Manage cutting tools and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain maximum machine uptime.
• Produce both development and flight hardware within a high-velocity production environment.
• Collaborate with engineering for process improvements and perform weekly preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, specifically within aerospace shops and with hard metals.
• Demonstrated proficiency in G-code, setup, and operational skills for CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints, GD&T, and tight tolerances.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations.
• Ability to lift over 50lbs and willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with materials such as Inconel, titanium, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum.
• Proficiency with CAM software like NX, Solidworks HSM, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or Esprit.
• Experience with Heidenhain, Haas, Fanuc, or Siemens control systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop math.
