What you will do

• Lead technical design and decision-making for large, release-defining projects impacting the cloud platform.
• Design and implement new capabilities across networking, control plane, and managed service infrastructure.
• Build and maintain the bookkeeping system and integrations for cloud-based metering and billing.
• Solve complex, mission-critical system problems to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and resilient.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers on system design, coding standards, and architectural best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and debugging system-level software in Golang or a similar language.
• Familiarity with distributed systems managed via Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build highly reliable, high-performance system software.
• Experience working in environments where performance and scalability are critical.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Location: Must be based in Portugal

Nice to have

• Experience building cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Experience working with frontend web frameworks like React.
• Background in cloud-based metering, billing, and generally accepted accounting practices.
