What you will do

• Lead the technical architecture and delivery of integration solutions for the consumer lending platform.
• Design and implement secure, maintainable layers using C#, VB.Net, RESTful web services, and SOAP APIs.
• Own the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis and technical design to deployment and production monitoring.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, coding practices, and quality gates through rigorous code reviews.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers via pair programming and knowledge transfer on integration patterns.
• Evaluate emerging fintech partners and technologies by conducting proof-of-concept work.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 7–10 years of progressive software engineering experience, including technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in C#, VB.Net, .NET Framework, and enterprise web application development.
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful and SOAP APIs in distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, webhooks, API security, and financial data workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer lending, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), or financial institution software.
• Familiarity with credit decisioning engines and automated underwriting workflows.
• Cloud and Azure development experience.
• CI/CD pipeline design and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing methodologies (unit, integration, and contract testing).
