Security Analyst (Industrial Security)

Security Analyst (Industrial Security): Providing support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in security administration and coordination of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) with an accent on regulatory compliance (32 CFR Part 117) and personnel clearances. What you will do

• Support the FSO in security administration and NISP coordination.
• Manage personnel clearances, background investigations, and visit access requests (VARs) via DISS.
• Conduct employee briefings, debriefings, and annual security training.
• Maintain Standard Practice Procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117.
• Investigate security violations and conduct administrative inquiries.
• Oversee Open Storage Areas and ensure compliance with Facility Clearance (FCL) regulations.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess a current FINAL Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent Industrial Security experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and NISP/NISPOM
• Experience supporting classified programs with the Department of Defense (DoD)
• Strong investigative and communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OPNAV 9210.3 and NN-801 rev. 5 security requirements
• Experience with LenelS2 and Security Information Management System (SIMS) software
• Proficiency in processing SF-86 and SF-312 forms
• Working knowledge of DISS, NISS, and NBIS
