What you will do

• Deliver high-quality hardware and RF technical support to major electronics brands.
• Lead proof-of-concept activities and solution designs to differentiate NXP products.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to influence product roadmaps.
• Own the block diagram process to ensure full system requirement alignment.
• Articulate the value of NXP solutions to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Educate Field Sales Engineers on new technologies and product features.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Radio Frequencies (RF).
• Coursework in Wireless Communications, Antennas, and Microwaves.
• Hands-on experience with network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF simulation tools.
• Proficiency in C and scripting languages.
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, including short-notice trips.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA.

Nice to have

• 1-2 years of experience with RF antenna design review and simulation.
• Experience with schematic and layout design for RF sections.
• Knowledge of regulatory testing such as EMVCo, NFC ISO, or RAIN/RFID.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles.
