TL;DR

Customer Experience Agent (Japanese Speaking): Resolving customer issues related to payments, orders, shipments, and general inquiries with a customer-first attitude and in a timely manner with an accent on ensuring a positive experience. Focus on troubleshooting, researching, and resolving open questions while seeking opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.

Location: Remote, must live within commuting distance of the Tokyo hub.

What you will do

  • Interact with buyers and sellers with a customer-first, polite attitude to ensure a positive experience.
  • Resolve customer issues regarding payments, orders, shipments, and general questions in a timely manner.
  • Become an expert in hirify.global's products, processes, and systems to drive positive outcomes for users.
  • Work with other departments to troubleshoot, research, and resolve open questions.
  • Seek opportunities to eliminate repeat contacts and improve the overall customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of support experience handling email and/or chat services.
  • Fluent in English and native Japanese.
  • Understanding of Ecommerce and Marketplace operations.
  • Experience with customer-facing systems like Zendesk, Kustomer, or Intercom.
  • Obsession with customers and a customer-first mentality.
  • Proactive problem-solver and process-improver.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Collectibles.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous start-up experience.
