What you will do

• Develop and ship fullstack features using Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, and React.
• Own the entire software lifecycle from technical design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Modernize legacy codebases by introducing solid engineering principles and reducing technical debt.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into business-impacting solutions.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and architectural discussions.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience with TypeScript, React, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in the continental United States.
• Proven track record of owning and delivering meaningful features or complex systems.
• Expertise in modern testing philosophies and experience improving slow or non-deterministic test suites.
• Ability to work self-directed in a high-growth environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright, Slack bots, and workflow automation.
• Background working in a startup or high-growth company.
