What you will do

• Take full ownership of serverless (Knative) and messaging services including NATS and RabbitMQ from architecture to operational stability.
• Design and develop the complete delivery pipeline involving operators, API endpoints, CLI commands, and Terraform resources.
• Build event processing and scaling architectures, focusing on autoscaling mechanisms and cold-start optimization.
• Integrate services with IAM, billing, and quota systems.
• Contribute to technical standards, architectural patterns, and the overall direction of platform services.

Requirements

• Experience designing, building, or operating complex systems on production Kubernetes clusters.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and service-to-service communication.
• Strong proficiency in Go and good knowledge of Python for building controllers and APIs.
• Ability to build integrations and API wrappers using REST or gRPC.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) in daily engineering work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Knative serving, eventing, and autoscaling.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, NATS, or Apache Kafka in event-driven architectures.
• Experience with serverless platforms like OpenFaaS, AWS Lambda, or Cloud Functions.
• Experience building Terraform providers or custom resources.
• Open-source contributions within the CNCF ecosystem or experience at a cloud provider.
