Product Manager (Backend & Creator Foundation): Driving the strategic vision and adoption of the Rabo Online Platform (ROP) to empower over 160 internal DevOps squads with an accent on engineering journey optimization and developer experience. Focus on building a coherent product roadmap, fostering community engagement, and streamlining complex backend and platform processes to ensure high-quality digital delivery.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Utrecht, Netherlands (Hybrid)

Salary: €4,931 – €7,043 gross per month

What you will do

  • Shape the strategic vision and direction for the ROP engineering user journey.
  • Translate organizational and developer needs into a clear, coherent product strategy and roadmap.
  • Drive platform adoption and engagement across 160+ internal DevOps squads.
  • Build and nurture the ROP community to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
  • Optimize platform user journeys and features in close collaboration with platform contributors and architects.
  • Streamline communication and service engagement for creators using the platform.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Good command of both Dutch and English.
  • Strong focus on system adoption and success outcomes rather than just technical outputs.
  • Ability to present compelling and convincing value propositions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to create structure and purpose.
  • Experience with platform engineering, microservice architecture, or application development is an advantage.
