What you will do
- Manage and maintain multiple OpenShift clusters across virtual and cloud environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Research and implement automation for infrastructure management and optimize system performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot issues related to container orchestration, networking, storage, and security.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical production systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to develop best practices for deploying containerized applications.
- Create operational documentation and support development teams with containerization and migration to OpenShift.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Linux system administrator, preferably with RHEL.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working in an OpenShift environment.
- Strong automation skills with proficiency in Ansible.
- English: B2 level or higher required.
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior staff.
Nice to have
- Valid Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
