Solutions Engineer (International Government): Designing and positioning spatial intelligence software solutions for government and defense customers in the APAC region with an accent on geospatial data integration and sovereign-compliant architectures. What you will do

  • Support the full pre-sales lifecycle for APAC IG customers, including technical discovery and qualification.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts for defense use cases such as ISR and maritime domain awareness.
  • Architect deployments for sovereign cloud, private cloud, on-premise, and air-gapped environments.
  • Provide technical inputs for RFIs, RFPs, and tenders within APAC defense procurement cycles.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting for deployed solutions on edge platforms, including UAS and mobile ground systems.
  • Collaborate with regional partners and internal Product/Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Math).
  • Experience supporting ISR, UAS, aerospace, or defense system integrations.
  • Knowledge of 3D terrain data formats (DEM/DTED, Cesium 3D Tiles) and coordinate systems (WGS84, UTM).
  • Experience integrating SDKs and APIs (C++, REST, gRPC) in real-time or batch contexts.
  • Familiarity with GNSS/INS navigation systems and visual-inertial fusion stacks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally (25–50%).

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or Computer Vision.
  • Exposure to Linux-based embedded systems (systemd, Yocto, Docker).
  • Familiarity with OGC geospatial standards (WMS, WMTS, WFS).
  • Background in AI/ML applications for computer vision, sensor fusion, or ISR analytics.
