TL;DR

IT Service Desk Student: Providing technical support for end-users and maintaining IT infrastructure in an office environment with an accent on hardware troubleshooting, software deployment, and service request management. Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Provide desktop support for PCs, mobile devices, and network equipment to local and remote users.
  • Manage and prioritize service support requests within established service level targets.
  • Deploy software images and updates to computers locally and remotely.
  • Handle the physical setup, relocation, and breakdown of workstations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide user training as required.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational information security policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Must have legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
  • Currently enrolled in a college diploma or degree program in a relevant technical field.
  • Proficiency in supporting standard hardware including Dell/HP laptops and multi-function printers.
  • Understanding of Windows Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft productivity suites.
  • Experience or exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) systems like ServiceNow or Zendesk.
  • Strong oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of engineering software such as Autodesk, ESRI, or Bentley products.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
