What you will do

• Maintain and enhance security tooling, including log aggregation, AV, and cloud runtime protection.
• Automate detection patterns to identify and respond to threats against the infrastructure.
• Implement security automation to support engineers and reduce vulnerability remediation time.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and ad hoc security reviews to prioritize risks.
• Partner with software and infrastructure engineers to integrate security early in the development process.
• Participate in incident response, including investigation, containment, and recovery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S. and authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Go.
• Experience automating security workflows using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Deep understanding of modern TTPs used to target B2C online businesses.
• Familiarity with OWASP principles and experience deploying tools for secure development.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation requiring nontraditional hours.
