What you will do

• Lead complex technical initiatives from planning through execution and launch.
• Architect robust solutions and write design documentation to guide team decision-making.

• Develop internal AI-powered tools and agentic workflows to accelerate team productivity.
• Maintain high production standards through thoughtful code reviews and incident response.
• Drive process improvements to reduce workflow friction and enhance system observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade software.
• Proven track record of leading non-trivial projects to completion.
• Strong technical depth in backend systems, API design, or distributed services.
• Demonstrated ability to explain architectural tradeoffs clearly in writing.
• Fluent and deliberate use of AI tooling across the full engineering lifecycle.
• Mentorship experience with a focus on helping teammates grow.

Nice to have

• Experience in ticketing, e-commerce, or two-sided marketplace environments.
• Proficiency with production observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Sentry.
