Salary: $119,800 – $261,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build AI-powered image search capabilities and intelligent systems to understand user intent at global scale.
• Develop scalable systems spanning both backend platforms and user-facing experience layers.
• Integrate LLMs and multimodal AI in production to improve relevance and overall experience quality.
• Implement and operate high-performance distributed services, ensuring reliability and efficiency under real-world workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data science teams to drive architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Must be based in the US and able to commute to the Redmond office.

Nice to have

• Experience building search, recommendation, or large-scale information retrieval systems.
• Hands-on production experience with LLMs, multimodal AI, or AI-driven reasoning systems.
• Background in image processing, computer vision, or content understanding pipelines.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical quality across a team.
