Salary: $112,626 - $135,000

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers across various experience levels.
- Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the systems engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and scalability.
- Ensure 24/7 production environment availability through effective scheduling, incident response, and on-call management.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to improve team productivity and system performance.
- Establish and enforce standards for documentation, runbooks, change management, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Must be based in North America (NOAM).
- 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams in SaaS or high-availability environments.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Expertise in Linux-based systems administration (required) and Windows Server (highly preferred).
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and Java-based application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).
Nice to have
- Relevant technical certifications such as AWS, Azure, or ITIL.
- Experience supporting large-scale SaaS environments with 10,000+ customers and 200,000+ users.
