What you will do

  • Define and execute test strategies for UI (Playwright, Selenium) and API (Postman) coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Conduct performance, load, and reliability testing using k6 and JMeter to ensure system scalability.
  • Advocate for better design and testability, shifting quality left in the development lifecycle.
  • Implement AI-assisted tools for test generation, exploratory testing, and root cause analysis.
  • Identify and track defects while optimizing test execution speed and reducing flakiness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, SDET, or Test Automation Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium, and programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong understanding of Web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing rich text editors or content authoring tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Node.js/React ecosystems.
  • Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG compliance) and security tools like OWASP ZAP.
  • Knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and key-value (DynamoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB.
