What you will do

• Create polished, high-fidelity keyframe animation meeting aesthetic and technical project requirements.
• Collaborate with Animation Directors, Designers, and Technical Artists for seamless integration.
• Contribute to the development of animation pipelines, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Manage motion capture direction, cleanup, and implementation.
• Iterate rapidly on assets based on feedback from dailies and playtesting.

Requirements

• Must be based in or have working rights for Australia.
• 3+ years (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior) of professional experience in top-tier features or episodic projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of the 12 Principles of Animation, weight, timing, and appeal.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software.
• Experience working with production pipelines (e.g., ShotGrid).
• For Senior level: Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with rigging or technical animation.
• Scripting skills in Python or MEL.
