Senior Staff Software Engineer (Security) (Automotive/AI): Designing and implementing secure frameworks for autonomous vehicle platforms and cloud services with an accent on security architecture, cryptographic protocols, and threat modeling. Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington (at least 3 days per week in office)
Salary: $212,000 - $307,000 per year

What you will do
- Design and architect systems to support security goals and the company's Safety Case.
- Lead the hands-on implementation of vehicle security systems and supporting cloud services.
- Manage the integration of security components with partner teams and OEMs.
- Conduct architecture reviews, propose threat models, and perform security code reviews.
- Guide and mentor both security and non-security software engineers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in writing production-quality code in C++ and Golang.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a security-specific or security-adjacent industry.
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic protocols, infrastructure, and network security.
- Ability to translate product requirements and company goals into technical implementation.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Seattle, WA office (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Experience with embedded firmware and hardware security in robotics or automotive domains.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud security and infrastructure-as-code.
- Knowledge of Trusted Platform Modules (TPM), HSMs, and trusted boot.
- Experience developing or using fuzzers.
- Contributions to the security community via open source, research papers, or conferences.
