Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington (at least 3 days per week in office)

Salary: $212,000 - $307,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and architect systems to support security goals and the company's Safety Case.
• Lead the hands-on implementation of vehicle security systems and supporting cloud services.
• Manage the integration of security components with partner teams and OEMs.
• Conduct architecture reviews, propose threat models, and perform security code reviews.
• Guide and mentor both security and non-security software engineers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in writing production-quality code in C++ and Golang.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a security-specific or security-adjacent industry.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic protocols, infrastructure, and network security.
• Ability to translate product requirements and company goals into technical implementation.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Seattle, WA office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded firmware and hardware security in robotics or automotive domains.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud security and infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of Trusted Platform Modules (TPM), HSMs, and trusted boot.
• Experience developing or using fuzzers.
• Contributions to the security community via open source, research papers, or conferences.
