What you will do

• Collaborate with senior teams to design and develop programs and libraries for new and existing products.
• Implement innovative solutions to incorporate customer requirements into the existing software architecture.
• Work closely with Systems, Hardware, and QA engineering groups to define, implement, and test new features.
• Engage with Field Applications teams to solve customer problems and improve product success.
• Devise effective test strategies in coordination with the Software QA group to resolve issues with software releases.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Jose, CA or North Reading, MA, US
• Computer Science degree with 8+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of C++ and strong Object Oriented design experience.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead with a track record of consistent on-time software delivery.
• Mastery in implementing software that directly interacts with hardware, specifically FPGAs and ASICs.
• Experience developing Windows device drivers (KMDF) and deep knowledge of Windows OS internals.

Nice to have

• Experience with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) and instrument design or control.
• Proficiency with GIT source code control.
• Experience with microcontrollers or small-form-factor devices (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino).
