What you will do

• Implement new product features and optimize the Android application user experience using modern tools.
• Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team of designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
• Triage, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure application stability and performance.
• Contribute to the long-term health of the codebase through best practices and regular code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical coaching to help them grow in their careers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Experience publishing at least one application on the Google Play Store.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and a strong understanding of Android SDKs and frameworks.
• Solid foundation in software development principles and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA (specifically New York for hybrid requirements).
