Salary: $125,000–$175,000

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of Android systems that integrate with hardware and firmware.
• Build and optimize mobile data pipelines to process hardware and physiological data in near real time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify system performance and process optimization opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system accessibility, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Mentor teammates by sharing technical expertise and guiding architectural decisions.
• Maintain high standards for security, performance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android development, including designing APIs and SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, stream processing, and database optimization.
• US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or other wireless communication protocols.
• Experience working with hardware development tools and workflows.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
