What you will do

  • Build and optimize Snapchat's client-side ads stack on Android, specifically focusing on rendering and delivery.
  • Develop mobile features from initial design through implementation and launch.
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs for UI and infrastructure to determine the best engineering practices.
  • Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure high quality, security, and production-ready code.
  • Leverage AI tools and agentic development workflows to increase engineering velocity.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of software development experience (or Master's + 8 years / PhD + 5 years).
  • 1+ years of technical leadership or experience acting as a domain expert for a technical organization.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, RxJava, and Dagger.
  • Strong experience with Android application development.
  • Ability to work from the office 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with large-scale customer-facing mobile applications.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to deliver sophisticated initiatives.
