What you will do
- Create and implement execution growth strategies for the Hypersonics business portfolio.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with customers and partners, specifically within the Army and MDA markets.
- Manage financial performance, including overall portfolio budgets and individual program costs.
- Oversee contractual requirements for hardware and software delivery through planning and monitoring.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 2-6 Program Managers.
- Lead acquisitions, requirements reviews, and design demonstrations to ensure operational needs are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or a technical/business field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Program Manager for a Defense-related product manufacturer.
- Proficiency with formal project management tools, including schedule management, EVM, and risk management.
- Ability to access US export-controlled information (ITAR) and obtain a US security clearance.
- US Military Officer experience with warfare, acquisition, procurement, or contracts is highly desired.
Nice to have
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Direct experience working within the Redstone Arsenal portfolio.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) expertise.
