What you will do

• Architect and implement robust automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium (Java), or AI-assisted testing tools.
• Lead complex test planning and execution for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Conduct advanced API, interface, and data validation testing using ReadyAPI and Postman.
• Optimize test execution strategies and automation coverage across CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub.
• Own the development and maintenance of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) at scale.
• Mentor QA Automation Engineers and lead defect triage sessions, technical walkthroughs, and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Advanced proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Deep experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and enterprise-level testing.
• Expertise in Jira and Xray for test management within Agile delivery pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with VA systems, enterprise APIs, MPI, VA Profile, or Oracle scripting.
• Prior experience supporting the VA or other Federal agencies.
• Knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, or HITECH compliance frameworks.
• Experience leading QA automation teams or mentoring junior engineers.
