Salary: $140,000 - $197,500 USD annually

What you will do

• Transition effectively between rapid AI-assisted iteration and disciplined manual engineering throughout the feature lifecycle.
• Integrate and utilize AI tooling such as Amazon Kiro, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot within the AWS environment.
• Design and maintain modular, readable system architectures that optimize both AI agent and human collaboration.
• Author high-quality technical prompts and formal specifications to minimize hallucination and maximize logic accuracy.
• Act as the final auditor for all AI-assisted contributions to ensure security protocols and internal standards are met.
• Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD) and create precise technical documentation as a source of truth for AI tools.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Experience building and shipping products using AI-assisted engineering disciplines or "vibe-to-spec" workflows.
• Strong grasp of CS fundamentals, system design, API architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• General comfort navigating AWS services and managing cloud deployment pipelines.
• Must be based in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with various AI-native agents and emerging IDEs.
• Active involvement in the AI-engineering community or a portfolio showcasing AI-augmented projects.
