Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC) — 3 to 5 days a week in office

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day firewall policy administration and optimize existing rules.
• Maintain the enterprise security framework and ensure up-to-date documentation of infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business partners and IT teams to enforce security requirements.
• Configure, install, and maintain security hardware and deploy code upgrades.
• Troubleshoot network service disruptions and analyze security and traffic logs.
• Participate in on-call rotation duties and respond to cyber incidents in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Cisco ASA next-generation firewalls.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMB, and NAT principles.
• Experience analyzing network traffic and supporting large enterprise network environments.
• Proven experience working within Data Center environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Certifications: PCCET, PCNSA, CCNA, Cisco DevNet Associate, or CompTIA Security+/Network+.
• Background in network support or design.
