What you will do

• Manage and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VoIP systems to ensure high availability and low latency.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to mitigate organizational risks.
• Monitor network traffic using SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and respond to security incidents.
• Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as CMMC 2.0, HIPAA, and NIST.
• Maintain network hardware, perform firmware updates, and document topologies for operational continuity.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in network administration and/or information security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP) and Cisco hardware.
• Experience with security tools including firewalls (Sonic Wall, Cisco ASA), VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud platform security configurations in Azure or AWS.

Nice to have

• Cisco and/or Microsoft network certifications.
• Experience working with distributed teams and remote users.
