What you will do

• Lead the architectural direction for AI/ML-enabled systems, integrating LLMs and predictive models into customer-facing applications.
• Design and deliver scalable, high-availability products with a deep understanding of both frontend and backend architectures.
• Implement MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management, monitoring, and reliable data engineering pipelines on AWS.
• Drive cross-team adoption of AI-driven automation and AI-augmented development tools across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical solutions and define the long-term technology roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience building commercial applications.
• Expertise in AWS, Serverless, Event-Driven Architecture, SOA, Microservices, and Microfrontends.
• Proven experience designing and deploying ML systems, including LLM and retrieval-based solutions, in production.
• Strong data engineering skills for building scalable pipelines and optimizing data processing workflows.
• Proficiency in using AI-powered coding agents to accelerate implementation while maintaining quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience implementing machine-readable knowledge graphs or ontologies for structured reasoning.
• Experience operating in high-velocity engineering environments emphasizing rapid iteration.
