What you will do

• Lead the product design and iteration of the payment middle platform, order system, and clearing module for Europe and LATAM.
• Drive the global fiat payment platform roadmap and execution, with a heavy focus on backend capabilities.
• Design the full lifecycle management system for orders, including creation, status transitions, and reconciliation loops.
• Develop clearing systems involving T+0/T+1 settlement schemes, multi-currency reconciliation rules, and fund verification.
• Define and recommend integration strategies for global payment channels (PSPs, bank rails, local methods) using standardized frameworks.
• Optimize core system modules to improve success rates, reduce latency, and enhance failure handling.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products.
• Strong expertise in payment orchestration, transaction platforms, or cashier/back-end payment systems.
• Deep understanding of the payment lifecycle, including routing, retries, and success rate optimization.
• Proficiency in backend system design and APIs, with the ability to collaborate on system architecture.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in global or multi-region environments.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with global payment rails (ACH, SEPA, FPS, PIX, UPI) or large-scale PSP integrations.
• Knowledge of settlement models (gross/net), T+N clearing cycles, and foreign exchange processing.
• Exposure to Web3, crypto, or exchange products.
• Experience working on high-throughput, high-reliability backend systems.
