What you will do

• Manage PKI and ICAM operations ensuring compliance with Coast Guard security policies and federal standards.
• Validate requester identities and access entitlements before authorizing certificate issuance.
• Process enrollment requests for privileged accounts and server TLS certificates.
• Respond to certificate-related issues and promptly revoke compromised certificates.
• Provide support and training for the Coast Guard Trusted Agent community on best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on risk assessments and maintain DoD/USCG security framework documentation.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
• 9+ years of experience in systems engineering or cybersecurity, with a focus on PKI and ICAM.
• Experience with Registration Authority (RA) and/or Trusted Agent duties in a DoD environment.
• Practical knowledge of digital certificates, CSR formats, and trust chains.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST and DoD RMF.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
• Advanced PKI or ICAM certifications (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager).
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, Entrust, or similar PKI platforms.
