Finance Intern (AI)

TL;DR

Location: Must be enrolled in a Dutch University and able to commute to the Amsterdam office at least twice a week.

What you will do

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes and financial reporting accuracy.
• Develop and prototype AI solutions to automate finance workflows and address operational bottlenecks.
• Perform business planning, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on process improvements and digital reporting.
• Conduct strategic research on AI trends to solve complex financial pain points.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field at a Dutch University.
• Available for a 32-40 hour per week internship from September 1st, 2026, for 5-6 months.
• Must be able to attend an in-person assessment centre in Amsterdam on June 26th, 2026.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical mindset with a desire to support data-driven decision-making.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Experience with statistical modelling, data mining, or financial modelling.
• Prior experience with data or process automation.
