Compensation: $116,500–$256,000

What you will do

• Lead global privacy operations, AI governance, and third-party risk management initiatives.
• Partner with legal, sales, and DPO teams to ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act).
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements, DPAs, and security schedules involving cross-border data transfers.
• Implement governance readiness for emerging technology initiatives by designing repeatable controls and operating rhythms.
• Manage risk registers, perform DPIAs/TIAs, and oversee audit and assessment workstreams.
• Develop negotiation playbooks and standardized artifacts to enable self-service and reduce ad-hoc escalations.

Requirements

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, law, or public policy.
• 15+ years of total work experience, with at least 10 years in IT, information security, or operational risk management.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, privacy, or AI governance.
• 2+ years of experience negotiating commercial agreements involving complex data protection and AI terms.
• Expert knowledge of global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, NIST, ISO 27701/42001).
• Relevant certification required (CIPP, AIGP, CRP, CRISC, or CRCM).

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor or Masters in Law.
• Experience with data governance platforms (OneTrust), vendor risk management, or CLM systems.
• Subject matter expertise in E-discovery or legal operations.
